Originally from New Jersey, Amanda has been shaking her way through the Queen City for almost 6 years. Amanda dove into the booming craft beer scene working at some of the best craft beer bars in the city In that time she has gained a plethora of knowledge when it comes to Charlotte’s craft beer & a love for the blossoming cocktail scene. She pursued her growing passion for cocktails and found a home at 204 North Kitchen & Cocktails. Recently named NCRLA Mixologist of the Year she loves to utilize lesser known spirits with familiar flavors to help even the most skeptical drinker go out of their comfort zone.

A born and raised Charlotte native, Larry has worked in the food and beverage industry for over 10 years. During stints at Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse and Unknown Brewing Co., Larry saw the craft beer explosion in Charlotte first hand. Opportunity drew him back into the Bar world and he has since spent time working under Bob Peters of The Punch Room at The Ritz-Carlton, bartending at The Cellar at Duckworth's and conceptualizing the cocktail program at SouthBound SoCal Taco's and Tequila.

NIGHT ON THE LINE
Have you ever wondered what it is like to work in an award winning kitchen? Well Chef Clark Barlowe and his team at Heirloom Restaurant are ready to welcome you in to their kitchen as they prepare for a night of reservations. Trained at Johnson and Wales in Charlotte, NC, Chef Barlowe has appeared on The Food Network's Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay before opening Heirloom in 2014. Focused primarily on serving the best foods and beverages from North Carolina, you will learn about what goes in to preparing to feed weekend diners! Once the prep work is done, you and 3 friends will enjoy dinner at Heirloom while seated at the Chef's Table. You will enjoy 9-courses of locally sourced foods and craft cocktails highlighting local spirits. You will leave the evening with commemorative menus so that you can also remember your foray in to the culinary world!

For the fourth year in a row, Charlotte’s Taste of the Nation ® will feature a special Wine Grab.
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase a $20 raffle ticket which will correspond to one of over 100 bottles of wine!
The Wine Grab will be set-up in the bar closest to the Fillmore's front doors so come on by when you first arrive because these bottles will go quickly!
Each donated bottle of wine ranges in retail value from $20 to over $100!
ALL wine has been donated by individuals and area businesses and highlight many different vineyards and regions.

Who We Are:
In fiscal year 2013-2014, SHFBM distributed over 45 million pounds of food and other essential grocery products throughout our 19 county service region. SHFBM provides food for almost 650 partner in 19 counties in North Carolina and South Carolina. 18.4% of our service area population lives in poverty including over 181,000 children and almost 40,000 seniors.
What We Do:
Three key programs benefit children affected by Hunger.
- Kids Café Program: feeds children who come to school hungry every day;
- Second Harvest BackPack Program: provides backpacks full of food for children at risk of hunger on weekends and holidays when school meals are not available;
- School-Based Mobile Pantry Program: delivers truckloads of food directly to high-poverty rate elementary schools in Charlotte where low-income families can do on-site food shopping.

Who We Are:
Founded in 1997, Community Culinary School of Charlotte (CCSC) is a nonprofit, workforce development organization that provides training and job placement assistance in the food service industry for folks who face challenges in gaining successful employment. With over 800 graduates, CCSC transforms lives every day to positively impact the Charlotte community.
What We Do:
- Address the root cause of hunger – unemployment
- Provide second chances that break the cycle of dependence
- Train students in culinary arts, job-readiness skills and goal-setting
- Provide training experience while generating sustainable revenue through
Encore Catering and our new Café
- Put money back in the tax pool and provide trained workers for Charlotte’s culinary scene
